Flag Russia A Russian surface drone (USV – uncrewed surface vessel) has been destroyed outside a Ukrainian port by the 1st Company Group of the Ukrainian 801st Combat Divers Centre. The Special Forces operators used a quadcopter FPV (first person view) drone to strike the USV as it approached.

Analysis of the video recorded by the FPV drone confirms that the USV is a previously seen type revealed in August 2025. We do not yet have a reported name for the Russian type, but it fits with expectations.
