Cutaway of Narco VSV interdicted by US Navy LCS

The USS Gabrielle Giffords, an Independence-class littoral combat ship (LCS) interdicted a narco-submarine in the Pacific Ocean on December 5. The narco sub was a Low Profile Vessel (LPV) which cannot fully submerge. This type uses a Very Slender hull form (VSV). The cutaway shows the internal arrangement of this specific type of narco-VSV.
