A LPV-OM-2 type Low Profile vessel (LPV) with outboard motors was intercepted by the USS Michael Murphy's (DDG 112), and subsequently handed over to the USCG Cutter Midgett.

Narco-VSV found on Costa Rican beach
20th August 2019
A LPV-OM-VSV-2-C type Low Profile vessel Very Slender Vessel (LPV, VSV) was discovered by Costa Rican law enforcement. Possibly carrying marijuana instead of cocaine (tbc).

LPV intercepted by US Coast Guard in Eastern Pacific
1st September 2019
A LPV-IM-10 type Low Profile vessel (LPV) was intercepted by the USCG Cutter Valiant in the early hours of 1st September. News broke on 23rd September when the first images and press pack was released. The vessel was handed over to the Colombian Navy.

LPV intercepted by Colmbian Navy in Pacific
9th September 2019
Another LPV-IM-10 type Low Profile vessel (LPV) although seems likely that is is late reporting of the 1st September incident (see above). Substantial reporting in Spanish-language media from 20th September.
